Grey - Just a little nitpick here. Do you know what a cliche it is to say or write something along the lines "this doesn't really change anything about pitcher X even though he just threw a no-hitter"? You're better than that, man.

@Art Vandelay: He's talented and hasn't gotten hot yet. Assuming he does, he has the upside for a 10 homer month. It's a speculative rather than a guarantee.

Grey - why are you so high on Jay Bruce in your top 100? Your projections are much more bullish than Zips' relatively pessimistic outlook. I got offered Bruce for CJ Wilson and Leo Nunez. I think I will take it, but I fear a yawnstipating 2 months of Bruce ownership. Give me a reason to get excited!

@3FingersBrown: Totally...

@XNadyMen: Agree with Fingers.

@herschel: Johnson's currently have a better season, so I'm not sure I'd even bother, but the trade's fair.

@ron mexico’s papi: Bench Alexei... Or trade three bench bats.

@Christian Lauffer: I'll post something in tomorrow's roundup, for now:

@3FingersBrown: Thanks amigo...I got his last start against the Mets right in pitching him, so he is probably due to burn me too...I only feel confident pitching him at home.

@Grey: What are your short-term expectations (this year) and long-term expectations (his ceiling) for Logan Morrison?

Thanks in advance.

@XNadyMen: I'd go Padilla based on K potential. They've both been pitching well lately though.

Of course now that I've said that, he'll probably get shelled. Padilla's burned me too many times to count.

@Grey: It is a keeper league. I kept Ramirez 2 years ago and he is under my control through next season. Last year I drafted Jeter and kept him for a year, so he currently occupies my MI slot. This year, I had the 3rd overall pick and to my joyous surprise Jose Reyes was there for the taking, so I took him and plan to keep him for 4 more years. So, to recap, I have Jose Reyes, Alexei Ramirez and Derek Jeter and only 2 spots for them. I clearly could play 1 of them at Utility but I need a run producer in that slot and none of the 3 fit that bill.

As an aside, because this is a keeper league, the teams that are in contention in a year tend to amass some pretty phenomenal lineups. My current lineup is:

C: Joe Mauer (kept through 2013)
1B: Mark Teixeira (kept through 2010...acquired 6 weeks ago)
2B: Aaron Hill (kept through 2011)
SS: Jose Reyes (will be kept through 2014)
3B: Kevin Youkilis (kept through 2010)
CI: Adam Dunn (kept through 2010...acquired in an offseason trade)
MI: Derek Jeter (kept through 2010)
OF: Matt Holliday (kept through 2010...acquired in 4 weeks ago)
OF: Alex Rios (kept through 2011)
OF: Carlos Quentin (kept through 2012)
OF: Mike Stanton (likely to be kept through 2013)
Util: Aubrey Huff
Bench: Jose Tabata (could be kept)
Bench: Alexei Ramirez (kept through 2011)
Bench: Yadier Molina
DL: Chase Utley (kept through 2010...acquired 6 weeks ago)

SP: Adam Wainwright (kept through 2012)
SP: Clayton Kershaw (kept through 2010)
RP: Rafael Soriano
RP: Carlos Marmol (will likely be kept through either 2011 or 2012)
P: Yovani Gallardo (kept through 2010...acquired 6 weeks ago)
P: Cole Hamels (will likely be kept through either 2011 or 2012)
P: Bobby Jenks
P: Francisco Cordero
P: Kevin Gregg
Bench: Gavin Floyd (could be kept)
Bench: Chris Carpenter (could be kept)
