I hate these stupid beyotchabatukises too. No love lost here! Though I’m not sure if that means you love someone or you hate them. I’m trying to think the last time I heard someone say no love lost and if they were saying it happily or angrily. I think it was angrily, but they might have had no idea what they were talking about either. Well, with love lost or not, I still want a 3rd baseman earlier on. I’d prefer to not have to take a flyer from these schmohawks. Though they are different levels of schmo-ness. Some are definitely less schmo-y. As mentioned in my 2nd basemen to target or was it 1st basemen to target or catchers to target, in one of those I mentioned how if a position is deep I want a top guy unless it’s pitchers. Yeah, if the position is shallow, I don’t want a flyer. I’d prefer to have a flyer where most have flyers. This is contrary to popular opinion; maybe I’ll win a Pulitzer for this shizz. Speaking of Pulitzers, I had dinner recently with someone who won a Pulitzer. I can’t even spell Pulitzer without the spellchecker. Anyone who can spell it, should win it. They only mentioned their Pulitzer three times over the course of two hours. I would’ve been wearing the Pulitzer medallion around my neck (is it a medallion?). I would put my name in to a restaurant hostess as “Pulitzer.” When a waiter came by for our drink orders, I would ask for a whiskey with a splash of Pulitzer. The Pulitzer person was now working at US Weekly. I asked if they won the Pulitzer for their Octamom coverage. They weren’t amused. This list is 3rd basemen that can be had later in your drafts. Look at this as a supplement to the top 20 3rd basemen of 2012 fantasy baseball. Where applicable, click on the players name to read more about them or to see their 2012 projections. Anyway, here’s some 3rd basemen to target for 2012 fantasy baseball:
Ian Stewart – Can you believe I didn’t write a sleeper post about Ian Stewart? Yes, I’ve written one about him for the last three years. I meant, can you believe I didn’t write one this year? You know what that means, right? This is the year he finally puts his shizz together and earns his Mini Mini Donkey brays.
Danny Valencia – I wrote a sleeper post about Valencia but I haven’t posted it yet because, frankly, I’m not sure I ever will. Just not sure how much I want to endorse him. This says a lot about Danny Valencia. Maybe I’ll post the Valencia sleeper article the same day I post my Leonys Martin sleeper post that I’m also not sure if I’m ever going to publish.
Mike Moustakas – In a whole mess of fairly uninspiring sleeper/3rd basemen to target, here’s a name that’s got me excitakas. He had a solid September last year and could shoot the rankings for next year.
Mat Gamel – I am a time traveler. True story. And I come from the future. In the future, I listened to the Brewers play-by-play of Gamel playing first. It went like this. “That’s a dribbler to first to end the inning… Ooh, got through the ol’ wickets. Gamel chases the ball up the line… Grabs it and throws the ball into the stands? Hmm… He was facing the wrong way. Mistake anyone could make. Now he’s going into the stands to retrieve the ball… Batter is rounding home, Gamel grabs… What I believe is a soda, nachos combo… And throws it home! Ooh, runner is in just under the tag with the umpire screaming, ‘That’s nacho ball!’”
Lonnie Chisenhall – The Indians should have a Chiz in the Hall day where all fans dressed in drag get in free. I just thought of that, but you can have it Indians marketing team, it’s yours. Right now, Asdrubal is penciled into the three hole. Luckily, they’re using pencil cause I don’t think that stays. Asdrubal will move up, Choo will move up, Sizemore will retire, Kipnis will move down, Santana will stay where he is, which leaves Chisenhall batting… Hmm, I have no idea. I just got totally confused. He’ll probably start the season at the bottom of the order, but move up to fifth or sixth by May.
Pedro Alvarez – I think the Pirates give Alvarez every opportunity to succeed, which is not to say he will. If he does start at 3rd, he still has a dirty/ugly/synonym K-rate and could provide a lot of nothing, which, according to Aristotle, is but a receptacle in which objects of matter can be placed. One object that could be placed there is McGehee (but if he’s playing 3rd base, he really should go by M.C. Gehee).

Gamel hits 30 HR with a .280 avg this year. I saw it once during a mushroom trip.
@EmporersMonkey, Ha!
love me some of Mike’s Moose Taco’s!
@Tim, I hope we all do by the end of the year.
not much to see here .
move along .
@chata, Don’t be too hasty. You might need this come Saturday evening.
@Steve,
look ,
i took moustakas with the # 96 over-all pick in our 14 team
keeper league
with the rcl draft coming up ,
and a 14 team dynasty league draft , after that ,
i certainly don’t need to draw attention to my “plans” ,
with professional snipers like you and vinko lurking
about my favorite blog site .
MOVE ALONG .
I drafted Gamel in the latter rounds if my draft for his upside and eventual dual position eligibility. problem is with Yahoo he’s not even 3B eligible just IF at this point. So the position he’d be higher on the depth chart and probably more useful (3B) he can’t even play and likely won’t. Bummer…
@ClubhouseGM, That’s surprising… Yahoo’s usually lax with their eligibility.
@ClubhouseGM, I did a mock at Yahoo last night and they Gamel as Utility only
M.C. Gehee’s hit single “Pop Out Goes the Weasel” is now available on the album “Stepped into a BM.”
@Colton, Ha!
Bill James is mad that you didn’t mention crush Davis.
@Donald trump, Sorry, Bill.
Grey –
1st of all, enjoyed the debut of the podcast. Subscribed, done.
2nd, I know you listed him as a SS to target at his MDC ADP of 141….but how do you feel about him at his Yahoo ADP of 96? He seems to be someone everyone is targeting and I can see him going even earlier than that. I’m kinda concerned that the hype is getting a bit too much because, while the guy is fast, if he has some bad luck and can’t get on base at a decent clip, he’ll be a bust. And that would likely have very real repercussions on the success of your draft because you’d have much of your speed projection tied up in Gordon. I guess speed is the easiest cat to gamble on since speed guys always show up on the wire. But what are your thoughts on Dee Gordon within the top 100?
@RandomItalicizedVoice, Thanks! I wouldn’t draft him at 96…
Question for Grey, you mentioned in the comments yesterday that you dont need an ace in a 12 team H2H. Can you elaborate?
@chilidavis, Sure, scroll down: http://razzball.com/category/fantasy-baseball-draft-strategy/
Mat Gamel’s biggest problems on defense in the past have mostly involved throwing errors from 3rd to 1rst. He’s fine at fielding. Now that he is at 1rst this shouldn’t be an issue.
@Gamel’s cousin, Did your aunt make you write this?
The news just keeps getting better for D Wright. He’s got a torn rectus abdominus, whatever that is. Wright says it’s not as bad as it sounds. Really? Can it possibly sound worse? I didn’t even know we had abdominal muscles in our rectums.
@frank rizzo, Makes me feel a little differently about doing crunches(well not all that differently, I guess, I’ll just continue to not do them).
@frank rizzo, Yeah, that sounds terrific.
Grey,
Love your posts, and the podcast was so entertaining I almost listened to it twice. Almost.
I’m in a league w C, 1B, 2B, 3B, OF OF OF Util Util hitters slots (plus 5 bench spots). The util slots can be any hitter – how would this change your draft strategy compared to leagues w CI and MI slots?
Thanks,
FD
@FD, That means you can load up on top notch 1B if available early in the draft
@FD, Punt SS apparently^ ? Doesn’t looks like they’ve got a roster spot. I’d just draft the best bats available in the first 3 or 4 rounds, I’d go something like 1B/OF (Miggy, Bautista, Braun, Upton), 3B/OF (Longo, Ellsbury, CarGo, Stanton, Mccutch), 1B/3B/OF (Han-Ram, Beltre?), then maybe a SP – but probably wait to draft MI unless you get a steal in Pedroia, Kinsler, or Reyes in the 3rd round
@Hooverville, heh forgot SS, yeah we use those.
Guess I should have also mentioned it’s a keeper league (3 mandatory per team), so most of the top 30 are off the board.
I’m keeping Wright, Han-Ram, and Cliff Lee so looks like I need the biggest bat I can find.
@FD, this might help- http://razzball.com/espn-vs-yahoo-roster-formats-and-their-impact-on-fantasy-baseball-rankings/
@FD,
don’t keep wright
Thanks for the replies! Rudy that article is exactly what I was looking for, don’t know how I missed it.
@chata, Mandatory 3 keepers, was either Wright or Pence…deadline was last night and I chose Wright before I heard of the injury…
Hi Grey,
What do you think of my team? 5×6 12 team head to head money league. Am I just going to overwhelm my opponents with my offense or did I sacrifice too much pitching for it? I just couldn’t pass up taking Prince in the second round when he fell to me.
C – Miguel Montero
1b – Joey Votto
SS – Dee Gordon
3b – Mike Moustakas
2b – Brandon Phillips
OF – Nelson Cruz
OF – Jay Bruce
OF – BJ Upton
Utility – Prince Fielder
Utility – Adam Jones
Bench – Delmon Young
Bench – Sean Rodriguez
SP – CJ Wilson
SP – Anibal Sanchez
SP – Max Scherzer
SP – Ervin Santana
RP – Joakim Soria
RP – Javy Guerra
Bench – Johnny Cueto, Francisco Liriano, Wandy Rodriguez, Trevor Cahill
@Daniel, Obviously you’re gonna need to stream or get a bit lucky with pitching. Team looks very solid though for H2H.
In a dynasty points league, do you like Cespedes more than Rasmus?
@Doog, Barely
This is how this post would have been written by Steven Soderbergh:
There are elite 3rd base options, there are good 3rd base options. Then there’s 50 feet of crap. Then there’s this bunch of guys.
Mous & Gamal are the only two I would gamble on and even that is like playing “Guess a Number” at cousin Eddie’s favorite casino. Good luck.
@ScottyM, Ha!
@ScottyM, Aaron Sorkin wrote Moneyball. (aaron – in case you’re googling yourself, you’re welcome)
would you do Jhoulys Chacin for mark reynolds straight up?
@whampwhamp, Sure
Stewart or Valencia? Zimmerman is my starter, but considering there’s about a 5% chance he plays 155 games, I might need a decent backup.
@Kevin, Don’t draft a backup.
@Grey, Do you feel the same when it’s a Daily 16-Team League with 25 man rosters and 4 DL spots per team? I probably should include this stuff to begin with. I currently have Valencia on my team and Stewart is the best 3B available … according to Yahoo!
@Kevin, Valencia…
Maybe it’s because I had him rostered for a couple (I think) of 2-HR games in 2010, and because I was frozen in carbonite for all of 2011, but I am pushing all-in on Pedro Alvarez this year. Former #2 pick! Excellent pedigree! Some third thing to hang my hope on!
P.S. By “all-in” I mean I will select him in the final round, then drop him in mid-April.
@Baron Von Vulturewins, I loved him last year (the carbonite year). His K-rate is slightly bonkers.
@Grey, Finally the MMD gets a mention! I was wondering where your love for Stewart went now that he’s a Cubbie. Alas I find out! MLBdepthcharts has him penciled in at 3rd, hitting 7th. I’mma watch him closely with my eye of Sauron.
How would you rank those guys speaking OBP?
Moustakas has gotta be a the top of the list regardless of OBP/AVG no? He seems the most upsidey to me. Then again, I too once voted for Pedro. I think he can still develop his power potential.
@3FingersBrown, MMD was in the top 20 3rd basemen. Moose on the top, yeah…
Hey guys, I have a dilemma. Just lost Wright for who knows how long in a 12 team keeper league. I have been approached about trading lincecum and uggla for pedroia but I’m not sure uggla is too far off to warrant giving lincecum. Now that I lose wright, I might be able to get him to throw in mousetakas (could keep for 4 years). Have excess pitching pre draft in lee, Tim, stras, d Hudson, Romero, wandy, ubaldo. Should I go for it? Or draft one of these guys?
@Jarred, Wright didn’t say he’s out. Am I missing some bit of news?
@Grey, CBS just reported that wright was diagnosed with an abdominal muscle tear similar to what Zimmerman had last year…
@Jarred, no not again… wright is dead to me…
@Jarred, They also reported that he is resuming normal baseball activities and will be ready for opening day no problem……
@Jarred, It’s not great, obviously. But Wright says he’ll be around for Opening Day, so you haven’t lost him officially. I’d see if he could throw in Moose for insurance.
@Grey, Ok. I read that this morning and about shit myself. So you’d pull the trigger then?
@Jarred, Yup
@Grey, Just talked to the guy with longo. Might be able to pull off Lincecum/Wright for Longo/Hanson. But if I wait i lose out on pedroia. The chance at getting longoria worth turning down the pedroia deal?
I am in a 20 team h2h dynasty league. We counts holds and obp%. This is the 4th year I am in this league. I think I have a pretty solid squad but I am open to shaking things up this year. Anyway I was offered fielder and lester for my bautista capps and brothers. I love how this trade solidifies my rotation. What ya think? I could even flip lester for a bat.
Btw I also got offered Jesus montero and wright for my longoria and Sano. Is this another trade I should consider?
c jp arencibia

@Ryan, I’d take Fielder and Lester then you should trade an arm for a better UTIL bat. I’d want Longoria, that other person is panicking.
Grey, I was just looking back at your pairings post and noticed, because of when it was posted, you never did a pairings with Braun.
I’m in a league that’s switching to keep 1 this year. My keeper will be J-Ups.
I may have a shot at Braun based on who I’m projecting guys to keep. I think Upton and Braun go together just fine but my pairing question is in my 2nd round…..would you like a pairing of Teixeira with Braun (and Upton)?
@frank rizzo, I’d take Tex, yeah.
3B is a fat bitch… “Fat bitches need love too, Craig!”
@beardcrabs, Ha!
re: David Wright; this is just a hunch, and he seems like a fresh-faced industrious lad, but if I’m him and me ribs is aching and it’s mid-April and the Mets are already 4-15, I’m not exactly rushing myself back out on the field.
Remember: The Mets are going to be bad this year. Very bad. Historically, laughably bad. That’s not exactly an electric cattle prod to play through pain.
@Baron Von Vulturewins, I totally agree…
P.S. Unless someone breaks a leg or loses an eye, they always say they’ll be ready for Opening Day. Got to fill those seats.
@Baron Von Vulturewins, Yeah, like how Bryce Harper was gonna break camp with the Nats.
I was Offered a Trade (I have been trying to get rid of Bourn ever since I drafted him)
I give: Werth (OF), Bourn (OF), and Andrus (SS)
I get: Morse (OF), Aybar (SS), and Santos (CL)
This is a 12 team, h2h league starting 5 OF’ers (standard scoring)
My Other OF are: BJ Upton, Bruce, Rios, Bourjos
My Current CL are: Madson, Jansen, Myers
Should I accept it?
@RealMcCoy, Eh
@Grey, Does that mean you don’t see value?
@RealMcCoy, Yup
If I have 5 bench spots in my league (5×5, 12-team roto, weekly lineup changes), should I still fill them all up with pitchers or can I have a hitter or 2?
Thanks dude.
@L-Boogie, A hitter or two is fine… Can’t make daily moves though so they’re just going be sonavabenching you.
Grey : Looks Like Perez will make the opening day closer for the Indians. Would you lose Pestano for Brian Fuentes now or sit tight?
@Mr2Bits, In a 10 team league, I’d go with Fuentes.
hey Grey,
curious yr thoughts on a trade offer i just put together.
14 team 6×6 OBP keeper league that counts holds.
my Stewart, Brantley, Chacin for his Yonder Alonso, David Hernandez, Heisey
Brantley is my current util slot, Stewart is on my bench. so targeting Alonso (would become my util) and Hernandez. i’d drop Heisey for another sp (D. Holland, Minor, Worley all avail on waivers)…
you like this deal or no?
Not crazy about it…
@Grey, does it change your opinion if I said I could drop Heisey for Reimold or LaRoche instead of one of those SPs?
Mini Molina report: Royals announce catcher Salvador Perez suffered a left lateral meniscus tear in the knee that will require surgery. No timetable on his return yet.
@vinko, Damn, that sucks. Thanks for the update!
@Grey, 12 team mixed, 6×6 (standard 5 + OBP) H2H Keeper, 4 OF – Close to swapping Starlin for Pence. My OF is currently Bruce, Gordon, Hunter, Bourjos with De Aza, Carp and J.D. Martinez to fill UTL and my bench.
If I move Starlin, I need a MI. Waivers looks like Scutaro, Pennington, Escobar, Raburn.
In a vacuum (cough cough – dusty in there) I think Castro and Pence are pretty equal in value – especially if you regard Castro as a better keeper at age 21. However replacement level OF is so much better than replacement level MI.
I can use some power but is this deal worth it for me?
@3FingersBrown, You need to chillax, my brother. No dealing Starlin for Pence in a keeper.
@Grey, I suppose you’re right. It’s too hard to find a franchise SS. What scares me is Castro doesn’t walk much. If the ball doesn’t bounce his way, his AVG could fall off along with his R’s and SB’s.
But yeah, I need to chillax. My team’s pretty badass.
@3FingersBrown, Starlin doesn’t walk but he hits for average. His average isn’t going anywhere. Hold tight.
@Grey, True dat.
On another topic: I read your J.D. Martinez write up in the ‘Stros preview (riviting stuff). I like him too, especially since he’s penciled in at 3rd in the batting order. What do you project from him in a full year?
Tabata is on waivers and I’m wondering whether I should dump De Aza or Martinez for him or stand pat… or bob or jim for that matter.
@3FingersBrown, I’d take Martinez over De Aza if you needed middle of the order production over speed.
@Grey, Yeah I figure J.D. is more upsidey than your typical SAGNOF, which is what I figure De Aza is.
follow up question from N/L keeper auction league with one american league bat and pitcher
You would keep lincecum at 26 over la hair at 6 even though when all said and done that would probably put me over $100 for pitching. Last year I spent 57 on pitching and won league.
With kershaw at 21, kimbrel at 14 kennedy at 14 was going to take a closer from american league as I have 3rd pick in snake american league draft b4 auction so was targeting bautista, rivera and then try and get anibal sanchez for around 10 another N/L closer marmol or bell for around 15 and some low end starters at end of auction but not spending more than 85 bucks on pitching. I am targeting jay bruce at 30, gaby sanchez at 20 aaron hill 15, sandoval mid 20′s and then try the rizzo/la hair combo at 1st base.
Thoughts
@marti, Lincecum over LaHair… Worst case scenario, you trade some pitching for another bat.
ok one more question, if i was to keep lincecum i pretty much couldn’t bid on the high end pitching because if I got stuck with another high end pitcher hamels, cain, gallardo etc, my offense would really suck so that being said in the american league snake draft before our auction starts would you with the 3rd pick do you take
A Jose Bautista on the way back best pitcher available probably one of either shields, matt moore, c j wilson or darvish or
B Take verlander with the 3rd pick and take best hitter in american league which would probably be beltre or kinsler, I like corner infielders over middle infielders because easier to find bargains in N/L only drafts at middle infield.
Keep in mind we can pick up american league pitchers or hitters throughout the year and drop the guy we drafted so some people pick up starting pitchers every week that have 2 starts to get more wins and strikeouts even though it may hurt their era and whip.
@marti, Yeah, of course, no more pitching at all. A…
Hey now – in a mock I did the other day to get ready for my 12-team H2H league, I took hitters in the first seven rounds and then went Gio in the 8th, Latos in the 9th, J-Zimm in the 11th and Anibal in the 14th. Couple
All very nice, but a bit unlikely in the real world. Couple of could-be aces there, but no true ace. (I know you don’t feel you need a *true* ace in H2H)
Ideally, where would you like your first starter to come from in an H2H league? Hamels tier?
@Steve, Hamels tier, sure… I’d be fine with a tier below that too in a 12 team H2H….
@Grey, Thanks. If you did get someone from the Hamels tier, you wouldn’t grab The Bum as well, though would you?
I ask because you have him higher than most (incl Yahoo where this league is) so him being there at an attractive spot is a possibility.
@Steve, I wouldn’t grab Bum too in a 12 team H2H league unless he fell to around 80th overall and I felt like I had a solid core of hitters.
@Grey, Is it OK to grab Bum in the local bar?
Oofa!
@Steve, Hehe
@Grey….i hate these long winded keeper questions, but i must submit mine as i do have a quandry. need help on my keepers. 10 team, 5×5, mixed, roto, 23 man rosters (2 catchers, CM, MI, 5 OF, 9 pitchers, no bench, no minors), auction draft $260 budget. Each team keeps 10 players, 7 of which we keep at an increase of 10 percent of 2011 salary rounded up to next whole number (Reyes was $11 last year, 10 percent [$1.10] rounded up, he’ll be $13 to keep) and then remaining 3 we must double their salary. my definite keepers with 2012 salary are:
1) Pujols $17
2) Cano $19
3) Reyes $13
4) Cl Lee $9
5) Bumgarner ($8 doubled salary)
6) Dee Gordon $2 (doubled salary)
7) Madson $6 (doubled salary)
Who to keep as my last 3?
R zimmerman $19
Alex Gordon $9
Weaver $13
Greinke $9
Haren $19
I know its always difficult answering these as you dont know who will be available on draft day, but off top of head, any thoughts? Thanks Grey!
@BobbyI, Zimmerman, Gordon, Greinke…
@Grey and/or Rudy
Enjoyed the podcast BTW. Looking forward to more.
Anyhoo, In a 16-team H2H CBS Points league, I have five keepers:
1. Strasburg (14th round)
2. Jennings (15)
3. Moustakas (16)
4. Tabata (17)
5. Alcides Escobar (18)
Of course I am keeping Strasburg, Jennings, and Moose, but would you still keep Tabata and/or Escobar or are the potential flyers in those round equal to them?
Also, since I am getting Moose for good value in the 16th round, would you take a flyer and start him or would you still try and nab a top 3B?
Thanks.
@Jake, Thanks! I’d keep the first 4. I’d start Moose and go elsewhere for a top bat.
Hey Grey,
What is your opinion on Wilson Betemit?
He had a great aug/sept last year and is listed as the DH for the Orioles.
A similar pattern to 2010 Bautista or am I just fooling myself?
@Aaron, Bautista seems like a stretch, and he can’t stay healthy… But here’s one man’s opinion… http://razzball.com/under-the-greydar-wilson-betemit/
Looks like Dusty wants Chapman as a starter…
http://www.daytondailynews.com/dayton-sports/cincinnati-reds/reds-chapman-competing-for-spot-in-rotation-1343948.html
@Steve, Be a lot quicker for him to ruin his arm…
@Grey, keeper league question: Carlos Santana + Billy Butler OR Jason Heyward, Tommy Hanson and Vance Worley?
@Grey, sorry that wasn’t clear: it’s keep Santana and Butler or keep Heyward, Hanson and Worley. What would you do (thinking about 2012 and beyond)?
@Curse of the Breambino, I’d go with Heyward, Hanson and Worley, but not an easy choice…
@Grey, thanks, that’s how I’m leaning, too. It’s sure tough to not keep Santana, but I think in the end Hanson and Heyward’s ceiling wins.
Got a good read for you here from the mothership TMR: thoughts after his second round pick…
“Was thinking about … How I might have made a mistake here. Was really hoping Jose Reyes would fall to me and yet he goes one pick before me. I have Reyes at 13 overall, much higher than his ESPN average draft position (currently 22). He went at pick 20, which is perfectly fine, except he went to @jeffpasquale, who used his first pick on Troy Tulowitzki. If you’ve looked at my Top 250, you know I love Reyes, you already had a shortstop, and you go shortstop again in the second? Was drafting with 11 people who all follow me a good idea? Am I being bird-dogged here? With Reyes gone, I thought about Michael Bourn for some speed or perhaps going pitching with Clayton Kershaw.”
reading Razzball makes me feel like the oakland A’s and ESPN is the NYY – just so far off in the way they evaluate players. The fact that he was thinking Bourn in round 2 is just nutzo.
Also – wanted to get your thoughts on spring fling Ryan Rayburn – possible “fantasy zombie” this year? I know he’s your boy
@Rob, That sounds like the ravings of a madman. ESPN does these mock drafts to show its readership how to draft then they have someone drafting Tulo and Reyes in the 1st two rounds? Did I read that right? I wrote about Raburn here: http://razzball.com/top-20-2nd-basemen-for-2012-fantasy-baseball/
@Grey, thank for the reply. ya i think it was a mock with the common folk but still, offers no value. i should stop reading that carp but like to know what the masses are doing.
good call on raburn, thanks for not letting me get fooled twice! even with his hot spring so far
enjoyed the podcast as well!
also been convinced to not take a SP until Bumgarner this year – there’s just very few bats i trust past round 12, so ill load up on bats early and then grab as many quality starters as I can find the rest of the way out. thanks man
Thanks! No problem…
You’ve probably been over this already, but where does Brett Myers live in the rankings now? Around 275 with Capps, Johnson and Co?
@Steve, Yup, right in the middle of the Brain Freezes…
@Grey, for the yahoo players in some leagues, i give Brett Myers a bump up because he is SP/RP eligible!
@Rob, Ah yes – good catch.
@GREY Holy smokes!!! Ha ha ha! I just listened to your podcast on the way home from work. You TOTALLY sound JUST LIKE THIS GUY:
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0278096/
HA HA! I swear. Listen to the podcast, then listen to this:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jBixdL7mhOQ&feature=related
I couldn’t NOT imagine this guy every time you spoke on the podcast, even though I’ve seen your pic and shiz. Anyway, I should win some type of prize for such a disgustingly precise voice match. Not a physical prize, but some type of title…or…formal recognition. Anyway…I liked the podcast. Let’s get a couple more here before next weekend!
@emceeperiod, HA! Thanks, what a compliment!
H2h dynasty… trade Pineda + top 10 prospect for Cliff Lee?
make that 10-15 range prospect or 150 range player.
I’d take Lee…
I know you kind of answered this above, but if you have the #1 pick in a 12-teamer and take Braun, who’s your preferred pick at #24 if things go more or less as per your rankings?
I think you’re gonna be stuck with Tex or Beltre… Can’t take another OF, Wright’s getting iffy by the day and no SP… Pray Kinsler or Reyes fall?
@Grey, That’s how it looks, doesn’t it?
Since you’re at the turn there, do you prefer:
a) Tex + Beltre
b) Tex + Panda
c) Tex + Zimm
Or do you get Uggla in the mix there somewhere?
Yeah, I think it’s Tex + who you said or Uggla… Tex and Uggla is a recipe for a low average so be careful with that…

Thanks! Not my favorite from these guys but you need power so Quentin…
And Presley…
This is in my 16 Team H2H Keeper. These guys were just dropped for some strange reason, so should I pick any up?
Kipnis
Reimold
Chisenhall
The only two guys I could see dropping are Stewart or Alvarez. I made a claim on Kipnis dropping Stewart. But would you do that, or do you see another move here?
Either him or Chisenhall over Alvarez…
