@Tate, Latos is an interesting grab just for speculation that he is off in the early going. I don’t think Bard is rosterable without having a for sure closer spot.

Or thinking I should pick both of them up and drop Neise or Edwin Jackson.
I have as my closers: Putz,League, and Perez. In this league we can play a max of 3 closers at a time. So I may not need Bard as a closer if he becomes one but may be an upgrade over Perez.

Hey Smokey – hope you’re still checking this post. Got a Holds question. League is 12-team , H2H.

I’d prefer to set-and-forget my Holds guy. I currently have Crain, but seems that Reed and Thornton (who are owned) are seeing most of the opportunities.

Do you like any of the guys below over Crain?

Been holding Andrew Bailey on my DL. Now Daniel Hudson and Sergio Santos have been disabled. In a 12-team league, I’ve still got Frank Francisco, Street, Hank-Rod and Casilla to get saves.

Of Bailey, Hudson and Santos, which is the most droppable in favor of streamers?

Danny Duffy is extremely underrated. The hardest thing to find are high K/9 starting pitchers. Even if Duffy ends up with a 1.30 WHIP and 4.00 ERA, his K/9 should be at least 8.5-9.0. You pair Duffy with a guy like Johnny Cueto and his 3.20/1.10/6.0, you'll get two SP who combine for roughly 3.50/1.20/7.2, i.e. the production of two Shawn Marcums.

Votto at 1B, and Youkilis/Gamel for CI. Also have Zimmerman at 3B. I’m shuffling players in and out because of nagging injuries that are killing me between Phillips, Youkilis, Zimmerman, J. Upton, and Stanton….and its only April!!
