This is the league we won last year hosted by Scott White of CBS Sports. Yay, us. Okay, new year, new league. Well, not so fast. Last year’s league coasted through the season in first place from about May on and if you were industrious enough to click on that link, you’ll see it looks like a bit of a mess. We won with Freddy Sanchez and Skip Schumaker? We didn’t just win; we won in a walk. I don’t tell you to beat into your heads how good we are (maybe a little). I tell you this so you know how deep the league is you’re about to look at. No, I don’t like Clint Barmes, but if he’s getting ABs at MI in this here league, he’s worth a roster spot. Anyway, here’s our 2012 fantasy baseball team with thoughts on different draft picks:
For sake of clarity: 12 teams, NL-Only, Roto, 5 x 5 — C, C, 1B, 2B, 3B, SS, CI, MI, OF, OF, OF, OF, OF, Util, BN, BN, BN — P, P, P, P, P, P, P, P, P, BN, BN, BN, BN, DL, DL
C – Ryan Hanigan $4
C – Geovany Soto $11
1B – Gaby Sanchez $17
2B – Aaron Hill $13
3B – Pablo Sandoval $24
SS – Alex Gonzalez $3
MI – Clint Barmes $6
CI – Ryan Zimmerman $26
OF – Jay Bruce $27
OF – Tony Campana $5
OF – Jason Kubel $10
OF – Laynce Nix $0 (free round)
OF – Justin Upton $36
U – Gerardo Parra $1
Bench – Stephen Lombardozzi $0 (free round)
Bench – Chase d’Arnaud $0 (free round)
Bench – Tony Gwynn $0 (free round)
Bench – Brett Jackson $4
P – Trevor Cahill $10
P – Daniel Hudson $19
P – Anibal Sanchez $14
P – Ricky Nolasco $4
P – Juan Nicasio $4
P – Chris Narveson $1
P – Aaron Harang $2
P – Javy Guerra $11
P – Luke Gregerson $8
Bench – Brad Lidge $0 (free round)
Bench – Brandon Lyon $0 (free round)
Bench – Travis Wood $0 (free round)
THAT’S NOT SAGNOF… THIS IS SAGNOF!
Saves and steals were going for really high prices. Marmol, who I like, went for $18 (a price I don’t like him at), Axford went for $18, Madson at $19… The list goes on; I won’t bore you (further). So we overpaid for Gregerson praying he would sneak some saves and we have Guerra. Um, blech. We’ll need to acquire some saves off waivers or in a trade, which is totally doable, so there’s that. For those with an advanced degree from the College of Fantasy Baseball at Charleston, Kenley Jansen went for $8, but it was early in the draft and we didn’t know we’d be hamstrung without saves. Yes, in hindsight, the right move would’ve been to get Jansen, but then we would’ve been paying $19 for all of the Dodgers saves, which is kinda absurd. As for the other half of SAGNOF, our team felt pretty lead-footed so we grabbed Campana to kill those cockroaches. With only the crap-oika of Byrd, Soriano and DeJesus ahead of him, ABs should be had. At $5, if he gets 25 steals, he’s a bargain. To back up that gamble, we invested in Brett Jackson. When he is called up, we’ll be a strong bargaining chip or we just insert him in our lineup over, say, Laynce Nix.
RICKY NOLASCO IS A FRIEND OF RAZZBALL? OH, HELLS NO
As kinda alluded to in the lede, in a league this deep, you’re not going to have a team where you like all the guys. Maybe I’ll grow to like Nolasco, but at $4 we just need him to have 150 Ks and an ERA south of 4.50. I kinda hate his guts though, so I hope that hatred doesn’t manifest itself into self-fulfilling prophecy where he gives us a 7.50 ERA. Aaron Harang isn’t really a friend of Razzball either, but you know what makes up for all of this? Sweet, sweet Anibal! (Please let his shoulder be okay. Thank you, whoever I’m addressing right now.)
“YOU ALWAYS TELL US NOT TO TAKE BENCH BATS. WHAT GIVES YOU, GOOFTARD?!”
It’s a deep, weekly league and we need some flexibility when the best bat on waivers is Henry Blanco. For most of you, you don’t need four bench bats, three of which are in the minors. In very deep leagues, you should take some bench bats. A 12 team, mixed league isn’t a very deep league. How do you know when you’re in a deep league? When you’re looking at starting Rico Suave in your Utility spot.
IN OCTOBER, I HAVE AN APPOINTMENT FOR SEX WITH JAY BRUCE
I hope. Or I’m gonna wanna kill him, because as mentioned in the podcast and multiple times on the site, people are lower than I am on Bruce this year and I’m getting him everywhere. I mean, like, everywhere everywhere. I may end up with him on an AL-Only team. Why are people down on Bruce? I’m confounded in my perplexatude! (Perplexatude isn’t yet a word, but I’m gonna start a grassroots campaign to try to change that.) Bruce just came off a great year and he’s still young. What, you people need me to shine a flashlight on him like how Ron Roenicke gets Nyjer Morgan’s attention?

So you took Nicasio, who I really like this year. His K/BB has the potential to be great if he is healing okay. Have you heard any news on him? And would you take Nicasio, Jarrod Parker, Peacock or Trevor Bauer in a keeper that counts K/BB? Parker, Peacock and Nicasio would all be able to be kept with a 5 round penalty, Bauer with a 10 round penalty (so 13th and 8th rounds respectively)
@Tom Thumb, I’d take Peacock, Bauer, Parker, Nicasio, in that order. Nicasio’s fine and will be in the rotation.
@Grey, Thanks! I know you are high on Peacock. I don’t put a lot of thought into ST numbers but I think Parker lit it up in his first appearance while Peacock got lit up. The projection systems aren’t too kind to either Peacock or Parker.
Bauer could get a very early and dominant call-up a la Lincecum IMO. Nicasio is in the discussion due to his good K/BB. It is a 20 team league and my starters right now are Hudson and Minor (I filled hitting up first). Does this change the answer?
@Tom Thumb, That is Dan Hudson, not Tim
@Tom Thumb, They’re all kinda tomato-tomahto depending on rotation spot and PT. Bauer could easily be the best, but I don’t think he makes the rotation. If he does, it’s huge. Nicasio has a great K/BB and will definitely have a spot in the rotation, but he might have a 4 ERA.
Your podcast is freaking awesome! Thank you for saving me from Matthew Berry. He is like listening to a girlfriend that you have, but don’t like, but have to listen to because you don’t have any other options.
Ha! Thanks!
Full results?
@trettbang, Huh?
@Grey, Think he was looking for a link to the draft or the other teams’ rosters.
@royce!, @Grey, yes that’s what I meant: full results of the draft. brevity is….wit.
@trettbang, In that case, IDK it’s with CBS.
@trettbang, Here you go: http://fantasynews.cbssports.com/fantasybaseball/story/17603758/draft-prep-national-league-5×5-auction
@Rudy Gamble, cheers!
whose in the dan hudson tier next year, scherzer or morrow?
also, i hate loading up on pitchers early, but ever try loading up on pitchers early in a 10 team h2h categories league? i’ll have offence anchored by 3 kept OF studs (at rounds 9,10,11) and can grab some SB/R dudes through the mid-late rounds and expect pitchers to snag five/six of the seven cats and have my hitters win two or more… doable, I think. do you?
@ivebeenupthreedaysstraightrunningbases, I don’t load early on pitchers, especially not in a H2H league, even more so in one where there’s dozens of arms on waivers.
@Grey, scherzer or morrow?
@ivebeenupthreedaysstraightrunningbases, http://razzball.com/top-40-starters-for-2012-fantasy-baseball/
@Grey, that’s sort of like taking a glove off and slapping me with it. point: grey.
I was just browsing spring training numbers on mlb’s website and I guess they realized that there are just too many stats these days because if you scroll over a stat a pop up appears, explaining the stat. So in case you didn’t know what a HR was, it is “The number of times a batter hits the ball and reaches home plate scoring a run either by hitting the ball out of play in fair territory or without aid of an error or fielder’s choice.” You know, for those casual browsers of ST stats.
@royce!, So that’s what that is?!
@Grey, This information will certainly help me with my drafts…
@royce!, Yes, it is good to know.
Rico Suave in the utility spot made my day.
@MKEeast, Hehe
Best end game flier?
Dustin McGowan – Impressed in early pens, 2 scorless in first outing, in lead for 5th starter role
Randall Delgado – Looked solid in 5 starts late last year, Teheran does not look ready yet and I’m assuming he takes the 5th starter job until Hudson is back.
Tommy Milone – Amazing minor league stats, said to have 4th starter all but locked up. Soft tosser but looking pretty good so far this Spring.
Brian Matusz – After having the worst season by a SP since the creation of Razzball, he did look sharp vs the Phillies in 4 innings, sitting 90-91 and touching 94 mph.
Who you like best? Thanks.
@joe from point pleasant, Delgado
Recently, I joined a 14 team Dynasty League, but am a little unclear on the draft and how I should modify the top 300? Any other tips or insight you might share would be appreciated.
Btw, when’s the SAGNOF T-shirt coming??
@vinko, I’d move prospects up a couple of rounds every five rounds. So by the time you get to the 10th round, they’re moved up 4 or 5 rounds. If you want Harper, Trout or anyone else big, you’re gonna have to go for them even earlier. Around 7th or 8th round… Not sure on the shirt.
@vinko,
why do you ask ?
is there anyone in particular that you really really want ?
be specific .
Please advise me. H2H, Yahoo, 12 teams, Standard setup. I am working on a trade involving Hanley Ramirez for Prince Fielder. My 1B is kind of weak but I do have depth there. I missed out on the stud 1B so I went for power around 1B in Santana/Uggla. I then figured a triage of Butler, Ortiz, Reynolds could get me by until Howard was healthy. The trade would probably be Prince Fielder + (Pitcher) FOR Hanley Ramirez + Ike Davis. I posted something before about picking up Vinnie Pestano but somebody beat me to it.
C = Carlos Santana
1B = Billy Butler
2B = Dan Uggla
3B = David Wright
SS = Hanley Ramirez
OF = Ryan Braun
OF = Howie Kendrick
OF = Chris Young
DH = David Ortiz
DH = Mark Reynolds
BN = SS Alexei Ramirez
BN = 1B Ike Davis
BN = 3B/OF Martin Prado
BN = OF Melky Cabrera
INJ = 1B Ryan Howard
SP = Madison Bumgarner
SP = Adam Wainwright
SP = Josh Johnson
SP = Adam Wainwright
SP = Ricky Romero
SP = Derek Holland
RP = Carlos Marmol
RP = Joakim Soria
Again sir, I thank you.
@Ringo, LOL same mistake. I cut and pasted from the reply email. Replace Adam Wainwright(2) for Tommy Hanson
@Ringo, So you have 3 1st basemen and you’re trading for another? No, that’s not good.
@Grey, Damn you and your logical way of thinking. Seriously though thanks bro. An objective view is always welcome, especially from someone wiser than myself.
@Ringo, No problem…
What was the budget?
Also, what’s the story with the free rounds?
Thirdly (is that a word?), Is that Stephen Lombardozzi related to the Steve Lombardozzi that played on the 87 Twins? When I saw him and Tony Gwynn I thought for sure you were messing around. I figured I’d be seeing Scott Erickson and David Justice showing up on the roster as well… then I realized those are the Jr. versions. Is there a Ken Griffey III?
@KeeblerMN, I thought Stephen Lombardozzi was a professional wrestler. Budget’s $260, free rounds are free.
Love Zimm at $26 in an only league. Great buy. Like Upton at that price too. Found a couple of soft spots in the auction there.
@OaktownSteve, We think so…
Here’s a Google doc I created that compares Grey’s entire top 300 rankings with Yahoo!. (If you end a sentence with Yahoo!, does it require an additional punctuation mark?) Any the who, hope people find this helpful for their drafts, some interesting things IMHO…

@B.o.B., Thanks! Love your Bruno Mars collaborations too.
@Grey, Thanks but don’t sell me short! I’ve also collabo’d with such superstars as Eminem, that fire crotch lady from Paramore, Lil Wayne and Lupe Fiasco!
@B.o.B., What if airplanes were like shooting stars… I love that!

@Chuck Norris, One of the better teams I’ve seen, not much to say, which is good.
Papelbon and Wainwright for Pence and Ryan Roberts, pull the trigger?
@Curt, Neither side? Guess Pence, but Roberts is pretty useless.
Grey: Love the writing.
12-team, 5 keeper (no restrictions), 5×5 (obp instead of average). My keepers are gonzo, wright, hamilton, holliday, latos.
I have 3rd pick in draft. Do I have this top 3 ranking correct: Uggla, Lawrie, BJ Upton?
Others: Zobrist, Youkilis, Utley, Arod, Bourn, Konerko, Gordon, Crawford, Bumgarner, Shields
Thanks
Henry
@Henry Chinaski, Thanks! In a keeper, I’d go Lawrie first… But it’s close…
@Henry Chinaski, Actually, you had it right, cause you have Wright…
Grey : Need your wisdom. Need to grab a SP in a 10 team H2H QS league. Any of these pitchers tickle your fancy?
Mike Leake
Gavin Floyd
Phil Hughes
Ivan Nova
Josh Collmenter
Luke Hochevar
Drew Pomeranz
Homer Bailey
Brett Cecil
@Mr2Bits, Whoever’s hot the first week? Bailey…
@Grey. Nice work. I will be really curious to see how Daniel Hudson plays out this year. I can’t say I’m with the Razzball bandwagon on him this year. I’m probably prejudiced because I owned him last year. I watched a LOT of games with Daniel Hudson. His final numbers were pretty decent, but he just didn’t give me the “in-game good times feeling” that I get when I watch guys like Jordan Zimmerman or Stephen Strasburg mowing people down (even when JZ is getting rocked with the long-ball).
I am not a quant, so that’s why I rely heavily on services to help me with my preseason projections. Razzball is by far the best. Summed up in one word…. juevos. The friggin cajones to go out on a limb and project him different than ADP based on a combination of baseball knowledge, sabermetrics, and just plain ole watching games.
This is where the rubber meets the road on Hudson. He’s a fine pitcher, don’t get me wrong, but he did not strike me as dominant when really watching him last year. He also did not appear to have the put-away pitch when it mattered the most (6th and 7th innings). This led to lots of wins slipping away, and ballooning ERA and WHIPs for stretches at a time during the year. Sure, many of these numbers averaged out for the best over time, but he did not strike me with that elusive moniker otherwise known as “elite”.
Perhaps confirming my suspicions, the only other prognosticators I readily endorse besides Razzball, the Steamer Blog, is REEEEAALLLLYY down on D-Hud this year. Primary reason appears to be projected HR rate – in that he got really lucky last year with that. I think I agree. I felt he was getting ROCKED on my staff, and yet the final numbers didn’t bear it out. He may have been getting warning track lucky perhaps. He certainly didn’t have the strikeouts when he needed them most and his K rate showed it for sure. I’m not sure he regains that either.
But I may very well be buying again in our auction, but this is one player to watch! Thanks for everything Razzball! Site is simply clicking on all cyllinders for your loyal faithful.
@birrrdy!, Thanks for the kind words and great comment….
Grey (and anyone else with an opinion), looking for a little advice in my dynasty league. I have BPhillips/NWalker/Alexei/Cozart to fill SS/2B/CI, so essentially 4 for 3 spaces. Someone really wants Neil Walker and has dangled Mesorasco for him straight up (I could stand to upgrade from Martin at C). Should I be worried about the Dusty factor or just pull the trigger? I think this benefits me in the long term, if not the short, but would love opinions.
@Dylan, I’d take Mesoraco, but wouldn’t drop Martin…
Hi Grey,
Standard keeper league. Would you do a trade of Jesus Montero ($7) and Andrus ($15) for Hosmer ($7) and Kendrick ($12)?
Thanks!
Btw, that podcast opening was awesome.
@Sam, Thanks! I’d take Hosmer…
Hey Grey,
Quick keeper Question. I am keeping Kershaw, J-Upton, Cruz, and then most likely Napoli ($13 next year). I need to choose between Melky Cabrera, Dee Gordon, JJ Hardy (all would be $4 next year and could be kept for 3 more years). I could theoretically also keep Elvis Andrus (at $23). Other then that maybe Vance Worley. Basically I’m stuck with no great 5th option, what would you do?
5X5 stadard auction. $260. 5 keepers. $3 increase every year you keep a player, contracts run 3 years. Thanks.
@HebrewHammer, Dee Gordon…
What did big lance go for in this league? 83?
@Lance, You’re using third person now?
Ryan Raburn intensifies the inevitable future disappointment as he goes deep for the fourth time this Spring.
@Steve, Ha… Yup…
@Grey, Standard 5 + OBP – Thinking of trading Starlin and Gaby Sanchez for Fielder and Jed Lowrie. That sound fair to you?
I’m definitely in need of power and Lowrie would play MI, with Asdrubal at SS.
@3FingersBrown, Sounds good if you need power…
who do you like in Dynasty League
Gerrit Cole or Trevor Bauer
@Mr Baseball, Bauer
RCL question, im trying to set my pre-ranks, it says drag and drop, i can’t do squat, i effing hate espn’s format, its terrible….
Prepare for your draft by pre-ranking your players here. Use the tools below to filter players by team or position, or search for a player by clicking the “Show Player Search” button. Then, drag and drop players into the order you’d like them to appear during your draft.
thats exactly what it says….
can anyone help?
@Tony, What browser are you using? It’s fine for me in Firefox. When you hover the cursor next to the player, you should get a cross-type symbol and then you can left-click on the mouse and move him where you want.
@Grey: With you hyping Bruce like crazy, if I have Tulo, Cano, Stanton and Ells as keepers and can choose from Bruce and CC with my first pick, do I go Bruce? 12 team H2H w/ OBP instead of AVG.
@SwaggerJackers, Bruce
@Grey, What if Beltre or Lincicum are there?
@SwaggerJackers, You don’t need an ace like Lincecum in a 12 team H2H. I’d go with Bruce over Beltre in a keeper…
@Grey, would you go with Jennings or Heyward in a keeper league? Easy question?
@Nick, Jennings…
Looking for a little keeper advice. League is a 10 team, 5×5 (OBP instead of AVG). I finished 2nd last year and draft 9th this year. We get $90 to spend on up to 8 guys. If we don’t hold any of the guys with 3 highest values then we can’t redraft them until round 2. We can also have 0, 1, 2 or 3 guys under contract where their value goes up +$3. I have some tough choices and keep going back and forth.
My team:
Hitters – C. Santana $20, Hosmer $16, Pedroia $28, Hanley $25, J Upton $28, Cruz $18, Heyward $8, Moustakas $4, Werth $10, Youkilis $15, Ortiz $16, Choo $17, Bonifacio $8
Pitchers – Bumgarner $16, Pineda $16, Scherzer $7, Ubaldo $9, Luebke $11, Fister $11, Lester $17, Putz $10, Hanrahan $8, Walden $8
If I keep Heyward I could contract him so he’s $8/$11/$14. Hosmer would also be an option to contract at $16/$19/$22. I’ll definitely keep Upton but he’s the only one I’m set on 100%. I’d also prefer to keep Bumgarner since I let go of Kershaw, Verlander and Halladay before the draft last year and got stuck with some crap pitching early on. Dudes I can’t redraft in round one are Hanley, Upton and Pedroia.
Some options:
1. Santana/Hosmer/Heyward/Upton/Bumgarner
2. Hosmer/Upton/Pedroia/Bumgarner
3. Hanley/Upton/Pedroia/Heyward
4. Santana/Heyward/Pedroia/Moustakas/Upton
5. Hosmer/Hanley/Upton/Moustakas/Bumgarner
6. Hosmer/Upton/Choo/Heyward/Moustakas/Bumgarner
There are a ton of other combos where I also keep Ubaldo but I think I want to avoid those. To further complicate this, I was also offered Desmond Jennings ($12) and a pick around round 7/8 for Hanley and a pick around round 10/11. If I did that then I could keep Hosmer/Heyward/Upton/Jennings/Bumgarner/Luebke or Hosmer/Heyward/Upton/Jennings/Moustakas/Bumgarner/Scherzer
Any of these options clearly better than the other? Thanks for the time.
Forgot to mention, contracts are for 3 years.
@Joe, I like 1 and 2, in that order. 1 by a decent amount too…
This NL Team seems pretty thin on pitching. I know you like your value SP picks though. Not surprisingly, it’s definitely lacking a clear ace and the pen leaves something to be desired. I’m guessing the offense projects near the top of the league though. The power is so thin in the NL, that I completely agree with the $27 Bruce investment. I like the play for Sandoval at $24 as well. Perhaps the move that will pay off most though was the Campana/Jackson combo, nicely done!
@Public Enemy #1, If Anibal and Hudson approach last year’s seasons, we should be fine. If they’re better, we’re great. Pitching is thinner than hitting though, you’re right.
Grey, 12-team, H2H, 5×5… Can you tell me if I’m on the right track with these picks. I drafted in the 4th spot and only went to round 11 because my internet connection is embarrassing. Thanks and Black n Yellow 4 eva.
1. Ryan Braun (Mil – OF)
2. Ian Kinsler (Tex – 2B)
3. Jay Bruce (Cin – OF)
4. Pablo Sandoval (SF – 1B,3B)
5. Madison Bumgarner (SF – SP)
6. Paul Konerko (CWS – 1B)
7. Gio Gonzalez (Was – SP)
8. Brian McCann (Atl – C)
9. Chris Young (Ari – OF)
10. Alexei Ramirez (CWS – SS)
11. Jordan Zimmermann (Was – SP)
@tggq21, Black and yellow! Team looks solid thus far. Bum, Gio and Zimm is a bit high on pitching for H2H. Bum and Zimm would’ve been fine and then a Rollins where you took Gio, or something along those lines.
Also, If I do indeed draft a pitcher from the 3rd tier in let’s say the 5th round (which is what I probably am going to do) what round would you grab your 2nd starting pitcher. What round do you normally grab your closer? I feel that grabbing a closer in the 11th Round seems ideal but i guess it depends on how the draft is going.. Thanks again BnY
@tggq21, 11th for a closer is fine. BNY!
I posed this question yesterday and you said Tulo, but I now see that Bautista is also available – grab him over Tulo right?
“We just pulled the draft order for my 14 team 3 keeper league with OPS. I got pick #2…NICE! My keepers are Miggy, Justin Upton and Greinke. Top 2 available in the draft are Pujols and Votto. I know it is not an ideal pairing, but I have to go with whichever one is left for me at #2, right? Next 2 best are Kemp and Tulo.”
@schlitzy, Take Bautista, yeah…
@Grey, thanks. If I can get Bruce as my consolation price at the end of the 2nd this team is going to look even better.
Trying out my new strategy of trying to get tulo/hanley and a top 6 1B in the first 2 rounds an OF in the 3rd and a 3B in the 4th. First draft started with Pujols, Hanley , Bruce and Sandoval.
Just did another and wanted to get any thoughts on where I might be weak. Worth noting, I waited late on closers but there was a run on the 4 guys I was targeting in between picks. So i realize im weak on saves. Thanks.

@Melvin Emanuel, This strategy is fine if you’re in a very shallow league like this one. Your hitting is stacked here, your pitching is okay, probably fine in a shallow league like this one.
@Grey, Is there a hitter you would have passed on in favor of a starter? I know when I drafted Morse, I was deciding between him and Bumgardner. Regretted that.
I would’ve took Bum there…
@Grey, agreed. Also forgot how down you are on Tex. In retrospect, since I missed out on a top 5 1B, probably should have waited for the Hosmer/Konerko tier.
Wow, I was sorta sad to see the advice you gave me on the previous post. Playing in all those expert leagues, I thought you might have a little bit more insight into the question I was asking.
It’s cool, I will let it slide, I will keep “downloading” and not “listening” just like you ask for.
@Madonna’s Left Bicep, No idea what you’re referring to…
grey,
ive read through the rankings…but still have a couple questions…
i have the endcap of my 12 team draft – i have the next 2 picks (PICKS 84/85 OVERALL) i have drafted 6 position players so far, but all the guys i listed are positions of need for me…(C, 2B, SS, SP, RP)
asdrubal/wieters/CJ/yovanni/cuddyer(2b elig) are all sitting there and are tops @ their position…what two should i take considering i wont pick again for 24 picks? thanks!!!!
@the grate one, I have no idea who else is on your team. Asdrubal, Gallardo…
Where do Bruce and Uggla rank in your top 300 and in the OF and 2B rankings respectively if playing in a SO=-1 scoring format? Thanks!
Here’s my NL Only lineup, what do you think?

@GT, Missing half the team. Take followups to my newest post: http://razzball.com/3rd-basemen-to-target-2012-fantasy-baseball/
In an 11 team N/L only keeper league where we also draft one american league bat and pitcher snake style random order before auction of national league.
Here are a list of my keepers. Who should I keep?
Kemp 31, stubbs 16, la hair 6, schafer 6, jesus guzman 6, kershaw 21, ian kennedy 14, kimbrel 14, lincecum 26.
I am thinking of keeping kemp, stubbs la hair kershaw kennedy kimbrel but that would force me to also draft rizzo who I think should go for no more than 8 maybe lower or should I keep schafer instead. Really don’t want to keep lincecum because I would not leave a lot for hitting. Any advice.
Also what do you think of tyler greene and allen craig this year?
@marti, Don’t keep Schafer. Lincecum is a good price at $26. Craig was injured and working his way back. Greene — meh. Take followups to my newest post: http://razzball.com/3rd-basemen-to-target-2012-fantasy-baseball/
